Nelly’s Garage is a true collaboration between the two minds behind Slaptail Industries. The name comes from Janelle’s childhood nickname, “Nelly,” but the obsession with old-school rides—that’s all Joe. His love for classic cars is legendary around here… and occasionally the source of a few raised eyebrows from Janelle. You’ve probably heard the saying, “I’m not worried about my husband cheating on me—I’m worried about him talking to Steve on Facebook Marketplace about a ‘classic truck with no issues.’” Yeah… that’s us.

We grew up around the good stuff: classic cars, cluttered garages, the smell of grease and fuel, and a time when clothes were bold and designs had real personality. Nelly’s Garage is our way of bringing those worlds together—nostalgia, horsepower, and bright, unforgettable style.

We create custom artwork and apparel for just about anything: events, youth sports, small businesses, or anyone looking for unique, but our true passion is classic originals. Our goal is simple: take a step back, remember the shows we watched, the cars we loved, and the moments that felt more simple.
